Daymark is a network of wayposts designed to be installed 50-90 miles apart along the coastlines of Scotland, England, and Wales. The installation aims to enhance visitors' experiences of lesser-known coastal regions, fostering geographic curiosity. Each Daymark functions as a dual-purpose device: framing the horizon and incorporating an embedded numbering system through 100 drilled holes. Designed to integrate with a dedicated mobile app and website, the project has undergone groundwork and stress testing by Arup Engineering to ensure durability and effectiveness.
